Duh. I first heard Frausdots' song "Soft Light" on a Sub Pop sampler CD my brother gave me after he was done with it and fell in love with it instantly (I was much less impressed with the rest of the album, however). Taking their cues from The Cure and Echo &amp; The Bunnymen, Frausdots combines elements of 80s pop and dream rock to produce music similar to Interpol or Luna but with a delicious new spin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.subpop.com/scripts/main/download.php?url=/downloads/free/Dead_Wrong274.mp3&amp;mid=274"&gt;Dead Wrong&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.subpop.com/scripts/main/download.php?url=/downloads/free/The_Extremists282.mp3&amp;mid=282"&gt;The Extremists&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I tried to find a Soft Light .mp3 but nothing turned up. While they haven't actually broken up, both Johnson and Martsch went back to concentrate on their seperate band's careers after The Halo Bender's third album was released in 1998.
